Child Rights
Creating a secure, bright & successful future for children
1098 - 24x7 Children's Helpline
A major program that is being implemented successfully is CHILDLINE 1098. A helpline thorough which we have reached out to scores of children in distress. The program also creates awareness by conducting trainings and campaigns on child rights and protection. Our greatest support in this endeavour, has been the Childline India Foundation. The local Police departments, District administration, Department of Women and Children, Labor and UNICEF have been constant partners for the successful implementation of the program.
All calls answered are followed up with prompt actions and interventions, by Sarvodaya Childline’s dedicated team of 1 coordinator, 6 team members, 1 counselor & 1 volunteer.
